It is the goal of any good business to reduce waste to remain profitable. But at Alexandria Moulding it is equally important to optimize the utilization of our wood resources. The idea is to cut the logs in a manner that allows for the best and most appropriate pieces from the log for specific manufacturing processes.

Once we receive the wood resources from the log and it has been kiln dried Alexandria uses state of the art manufacturing machinery to optimize the usage of the widths and lengths of the wood.
