Moulding

There are various types of wood sizes and pieces that will eventually make it to the moulders as noted in the previous sections.

Once the wood has been planed or processed into either wood blocks and blanks it is taken to a moulder. A moulder is a machine that cuts the wood pieces with a high speed cutting knife head and grooves out the profiles of a finished moulding.

Cutter heads, whether finger joint cutter heads or moulding cutter heads, give an extremely accurate grooved and smooth finished surface.

The moulding is then graded and inspected by our skilled technicians before it makes it out our doors and is delivered to our customers.
