Installing MDF

Nails are used to fasten MDF mouldings to a wall surface.

As with solid wood mouldings, excessive pressure makes marks or may split the wood.

A common misconception of MDF is that its nail-holding ability is poor. Test results confirm that MDF compares with other types of mouldings.
